israeli ramblings

Today we decided to visit the Kangaroo Park in Gan Hashlosha. Tickets are costly and a major bank sponsored free admission for this park and a bunch of other attractions all over Israel during the holiday. But everyone else had the same idea :(. After a late start and sitting in traffic for a couple of hours, we stopped off on Mt. Gilboa for a picnic lunch and short hike. Then we went back to the kangaroo park and were able to get it. We saw cassowaries, kangaroos, and koalas. Does everything in Australia begin with that sound? My 8yo got lost but waited for us at the entrance. He wouldn't tell us what happened. We also found a two-year-old who couldn't find his parents and passed him off to a staff member; they later announced that he had been claimed. This park had some cool mazes and we didn't even see everything.
